![]() ![]() The OP posted this question a year ago and apparently got the info he wanted since the thread has been dormant for a year. I know there are at least a few very good Techs on this forum and I'd love to hear your opinions on what will give me the most bang dfor the buck. I've looked at various reviews so links to reviews for products that you have no experience with is not going to be helpful. Of course I'd love a full blown Snapon rig but for obvious reasons something like that is not practical for me. ![]() Currently looking at the CGsulit SC880 which seems to be "ok" at $300. I want something in the $300-$400 range +/- and something that does NOT require a subscription. That said, if I have to go to a shop I want to already have a very good idea what the problem is and need more than just a $50 code reader (which I already have). I'm a motorcycle (Harley, mostly) wrench but am not set up to do major auto maintenance at home. I'm interested in hearing from shade tree mechanics who do at least some of their own troubleshooting and repairs. There isn't much conversation on OBD diagnostic tools here so I thought I'd piggyback on this latest relevant thread. ![]()
